Throughout this website «Site», the terms «we», «us» and «our» refer to japanese local tea.

GENERAL INFORMATION

All deliveries and services are subject to our Terms and Conditions. japanese local tea reserves the right to modify any part of these Terms of Service or discontinue the Service at any time and without notice. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the Site following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

PRICE INFORMATION

All prices are in Swiss francs and the shipping costs will be charged additionally (see Shipping costs blow). As our annual turnover falls below the VAT threshold, japanese local tea is not VAT registered and exempt from VAT (in accordance with Swiss law). Therefore our invoices will not be valid VAT invoices – and you will not be able to reclaim the input tax shown on them. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

ORDERS

By sending the order, it is binding and the present Terms and Conditions are considered accepted. The contract of sale is only finally concluded with the confirmation of the dispatch by the seller. In rare cases it may happen that ordered products can no longer be delivered despite order confirmation. If, contrary to expectations, an item is not available, we will inform you as soon as possible and clarify the further procedure. Orders will be processed continuously unless otherwise will be informed in the Site (e.g. holiday absences).

ORDER PROCESS

Shortly after your order has been processed, an order confirmation and a payment receipt will be sent to the email you have specified during the checkout process.

SHIPPING PROCESS

The dispatch usually takes place 1–3 working days from order date. When the items are shipped, you will receive an e-mail with shipping information for the items purchased. The shipping address is the address provided in the order. If the address or name stated cannot be identified by Swiss Post (if name is not on the mailbox) and the goods are therefore returned to us, the customer will have to bear the extra costs of CHF 12.– for Switzerland (post charges CHF 5.– plus re-shipping CHF 5.– plus handling fee CHF 2.–), CHF 38.– for other countries (post charges CHF 18.– plus re-shipping CHF 18.– plus handling fee CHF 2.–)

Deposition of parcels in front of the door. If the recipient is absent, the Post Delivery Service may deposit the parcel in front of the door. If you do not wish the parcel to be deposited, you can inform Swiss Post in advance by telephone or e-mail. We are not responsible if delivered parcels cannot be found.

SHIPPING OPTIONS

Switzerland and Liechtenstein: Delivery by Swiss Post with a standard B post. Once shipped, packages generally take 3 working days to arrive.

Other countries: We ship by Swiss Post Priority with trucking number. Delivery times vary depending on the destination. We will send you a shipment update by email with a tracking number to be used online at post.ch

SHIPPING COSTS

CHF 5.– will be charged for delivery by Swiss B-Post within Switzerlandn and Liechtenstein.

For International orders CHF 18.– will be charged for shipping by Swiss Post Priority with trucking number.

PAYMENT

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Invoice (only within Switzerland) during the checkout process.

Payment by credit card: Orders cannot be shipped if japanese local tea is not able to debit the customer's account (invalid card number, bank refusal...). The payment processors we work with are Stripe. Their Privacy Policy can be viewed at https://stripe.com/us/privacy

Payment on invoice: The payment by invoice option is generally offered to customers if the address of customer's residence or the registered office of his company is in Switzerland. japanese loca ltea reserves the right to refuse payment by invoice to a customer without giving any reason. japanese local tea invoices are payable within 14 days of being sent to the customer. In addition to any further collection costs, any reminders for overdue payments shall include a charge of CHF 20.- per reminder and shall be payable by the customer. In the event of non-payment of invoice amounts after receipt of a reminder, japanese local tea reserves the right to hand over the matter to a debt collection company.

RETURNS

For hygienic reasons and due to the nature of our products, the exchange and return of our tea products is not possible. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase or wish to return the products, please contact us at info@japaneselocaltea.ch within 3 days of your order's receipt.To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the original condition that you received it with original packaging. Returned products are sender's responsibility until it reaches to us. We will process returns shortly after receiving the package and notify you of further procedure via email. Once your returned item has successfully been approved and received by japanese local tea, the purchase price will be refunded to your account (shipping costs will not be refunded).

DATA PROTECTION

japanese local tea does not give personal customer data which are deposited by customers in the online shop to third parties, with the exception of the data which are necessary for the Post Office dispatch.

When you visit our Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.
